AstroPA13 Posted May 31 Share Posted May 31 Has anyone asked the program about their plan to resolve their probation status, or how it might affect applicants applying this current cycle (2024-2025)? As far as I have heard, programs that are on probation are still allowed to accept students, and since Cornell's next review is in March 2025 and the program would start in February 2025, it seems to not be a concern. However, I came across a reddit thread alluding to ARC-PA changing this rule: https://www.reddit.com/r/PAstudent/comments/17qaprv/arcpa_not_allowing_new_students_to_start_while_on/. It seems that Quinnipiac was not allowed to admit students once being placed on probation according to this thread, but their website tells a different story. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
