Anyone hear anything yet?

I received an email with an update to my application on Friday. It stated that my application is on the priority interview list and I should expect to hear from them from July to October for an interview date.

I submitted my app on 5/6.

Applied in May, just interviewed virtually 7/26. This week was their first round--very competitive applicant pool for only 27 seats. Expect to hear back in 4-6 weeks. I felt good about it, but again, a very cutthroat group with a lot of PCE. They still only have provisional accreditation and are a relatively new program. Good luck everyone!

B.S. in Health Professions w/Spanish minor, Honors

cGPA: 3.98   sGPA: 4.00, I took pretty much every higher level prereq at my undergrad (orgo 1/2, biochem, microbio, genetics)

PCE: Applied with ~1,330 hours as an inpatient NA/PCT, now 1,550 to date

Extracurriculars/Leadership: ~100 hours

Volunteering: ~80 hours

Shadowing: 80 hours in person across 5 specialties

No research! No HCE!

4 LORS: 1 PA-C, 1 science prof, 1 supervisor, 1 RN/NP

I got the same email stating I was on the priority interview list, I haven't received an interview invite though, but they said until October. Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone. Thought I would provide an update. I applied 5/6 and received an interview invite on 6/7 for the virtual interview on 7/26. They said 4-6 weeks after our interview we will receive either an offer, waitlist, or rejection. I had a great time interviewing with them on Zoom. It was the program director and the admissions coordinator for the program doing the main parts of the session. Applicants were divided into three groups and each group rotated between the powerpoint, a virtual tour, and then the interviews. The entire Zoom was 7:30am-1pm. The interview consisted of two faculty members and two graduated students of the program who are now practicing as a PA. We got 20 mins with each person and they asked fairly basic questions. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The applicant pool seems to be competitive like every other PA program, but nothing crazy out of the ordinary. I am willing to share my stats if anyone is interested.
