pa024
I just submitted my CASPA as a second time applicant. I made so many improvements to my experiences since last year and felt extremely confident about my application. After re-reading it yesterday, I noticed in one of the optional CASPA essays that I say "physician" instead of "physician assistant." I read my essays so many times and had other people read them as well, it was just a simple mistake that got overlooked. I feel really let down that I overlooked this and feel like it might cost me another application cycle. If anyone has any advice or has experienced something similar it would be greatly appreciated. I don't think it's worth contacting schools as I do not want to draw attention to it and already submitted to 12 schools. I'm hoping evaluators see that I feel passionately about the physician assistant profession as I have two LORs from PAs and my entire personal statement is about how working with PAs in two different specialties has made me confident in pursuing the PA profession.
