Shenandoah PA 2024-25

Recommended Posts

I was offered the interview for July 26th!! First interview, so excited! My CASPA was verified on June 7th. I'll be at the virtual interview, good luck everyone! Did they say anywhere how many folks are interviewed each cycle for the program?

Congratulations to all who got the interview! I was wondering if we wanted to make a groupchat with those who got the interview on 07/26 and maybe grab dinner the night before and get to know each other and calm our nerves?

I'd love to do this! Message me & we can start one!

Hi!

Can those who interviewed share their general interview day experience here? Also if you guys have any tips!

Thank you!!!

This was my in-person experience:

  • 8 am start time, ~1 hr presentation about details of the program
  • 1st interview round (able to ask current students any questions while waiting); was able to meet/talk to other applicants
  • They were running behind so we had lunch later than expected
  • ~45 min presentation from current leadership students (nice to hear about program specifics from their perspective!)
  • 2nd interview round (got to leave when you were done); some ppl got to leave around 2pm while others left closer to 4:30pm

I would bring a water bottle & some caffeine. Lots of similarities to the last cycle. A LOT of downtime and many of us were drained waiting for the 2nd round of interviews. I would bring a snack too bc you don't have a lot of time to eat lunch. As for the actual interview, w/o giving away too much, just know who you are and what you are looking for in a program. Be able to speak about experiences!

Tips: Honestly it was a very chill interview environment! Everyone was super nice and as somebody else mentioned it was super cool having students walking around to answer questions during our down time. I would recommend having examples of how you’ve applied the Shenandoah core values clinically or personally/ how you plan to apply them as a PA.
