AnaBee123
Hi PA World, Just wondering what your insight is... Would you pick Duke or Yale if you got into both? Duke is rate #1 in US News for PA school but Yale carries that ivy-league name, which may be worth more in the job market world. Or would you pick neither and go to a school located in a big city (lots of rotation affiliates- like Tufts?) What would you do? And Why? Thanks! The US News rankings are not widely accepted as being accurate reflections of program quality or outcome. And the name of the school you go to is probably less important than for many other degree programs. I suggest that you find a place where you think you could do well, can afford, would like to live for two years, and has good rotations. If you know where you want to work (and assuming there are jobs there), then pick a school that will let you do some rotations there to build contacts.
