smrsxn
Hi all, I need help with numerical coat size. Female Height: 5’6” Weight: 145lbs Chest: 34” Waist: 31” Hips: 40” I tend to stuff my pockets with a bunch of crap and I never buttoned my coat in school so it wasn’t too big of a problem. I had a size XS in school and it fit perfectly, but I need a numerical size for work and my numbers fall across multiple different sizes. I don’t want it baggy and discheveled looking, but I also don’t want it to be skin-tight. I’m not on here often so if there’s a thread that is more active and will garner more traction, let me know! A response is needed from me soon. Thank you in advance!
Reality Check 2
Go with a 12 or 14 based on comfort and not binding. Or, I wouldn't wear a white coat at all. I haven't in over 25 yrs. I find them hot, restricting and cumbersome. I also look like a snow beast in one. They get dirty easily and dirty looks germy to me. We wear business casual and you won't find me in a dress because I do ortho exams in awkward positions. Of my 20 VA partners, only one wears a white coat. Just my two cents
smrsxn
@Reality Check 2 thanks for the reply! They are being ordered for me. Would you happen to know what 12/14 translates to in XS, S, etc?
Reality Check 2
More likely a Large or XL Large is often 12/14 and XL sometimes 16/18. Whomever is ordering them should have samples. Or find someone at work and ask to try theirs on.
