jshatz29
Hey guys! Thought I'd start a thread for all of those applying this cycle. Good luck y'all
jshatz29
So from what I've gathered, it's an MMI. Someone told me that you get 8 min per question. I think they're the ethical type as well. 21 minutes ago, Sheilassss said: Thanks! Do you know or know anyone that can tell us how the Emory interviews go? What's the format? And I heard they make you write an essay I hope there's not an essay! Additionally, do you know when the actual interview dates get released? I was told in the email that they would contact us in "late summer" with actual dates, but I would love to have something more concrete on my calendar! WorkinOnIt
I received a rejection email today. I have a fairly strong application so I am a little disheartened by how quick they were to send it to me. Good luck to everyone else.

Does anyone know what the recommended length for the supplemental narrative is? Mine was only ~380 words in 3 paragraphs. It specifically states to answer the questions and to be concise, so I tried not to be lengthy.

TayRene94
Does anyone know if Emory accepts AP credit for the statistics requirement? I've emailed them and have never gotten a response and I am not seeing it specified on the website anywhere.

All courses taken to satisfy the requirements must be taken from a regionally (North American) accredited institution. Each course must be completed at a grade level of “C” or better and must be completed prior to the December class matriculation. All courses are subject to approval by the Admissions Committee and cannot be taken on a Pass/Fail basis, as CLEP credit, or audited. Do you mind sharing your stats? I had this happen to me last year. It was the second time I've applied and my second rejection. I ended up emailing Allan Platt and he was super helpful in telling me where my application was lacking and some suggestions on how to improve. So I'm really curious about the email you received yesterday.
cm05219
Congrats @MikaelaY!!! My CASPA application was verified yesterday 06/05. Received an email from Emory today 06/06 stating that "my application is complete and is being processed. Please allow 7-14 business days processing time." I will keep you all updated. Good luck to anyone else who has applied!

I did not either. I got an email saying in order to continue processing they needed my payment, but I had already paid. I sent them back my receipt last Tuesday and never heard anything. I emailed them Wednesday to reconfirm with them, and never got a response. And have no received the 7-14 day email. So I’m on the fence of just paying again and see what happens. cm05219
Just received an email with an interview offer!!!!! I’m honestly surprised because Emory was one of my “reach schools.” They said they’ll be contacting me in the late summer with dates!
