gcappaert
I'm working on a project at my PA school (Duke) to encourage the program to adopt a curriculum about medical issues in the transgender community (transitioning, gender identity, hormone therapy to name a few). A short list of med and PA schools confirmed (through internet search) to teach on the topic. Does anyone on the forum attend currently or in the past a program that included a lecture or other specific instruction on trans health? If so, did you find it helpful? If you've had experiences with trans patients, have you felt prepared? Feel free to respond or PM! Louisville UCSF NYU Harvard LAHMS Stanford University of Washington Johns Hopkins Vanderbilt Drexel-Hahnemann (PA) Thank you so much!!!

HemeOncPA19
UoU discusses these issues frequently. Currently wrapping up first semester, but so far its been more of a cultural awareness topic. I will update you with specifics when they arise. PM me as a reminder in a few months if you like.
