stellahead
I remember reading about OPAs before, but this is alarming. Sounds like bait and switch...at the cost of $70,000 and several years of their lives. http://m.staugustine.com/news/local-news/2015-12-19/university-st-augustine-challenges-lawsuits-filed-former-orthopedic#gsc.tab=

cop to pa
Hope the "school" gets nailed to a wall. How they can possibly deem two years at $70+K a year for a high school level cert reasonable is beyond me.
RetNavyPAC
Yeah - this sucks. Seriously evil and dickish marketing and move by the school, but hey - don't the students themselves bear some responsibility for doing the minimum amount of research (e.g. where former grads are working, are they accredited by the PAEA?, etc.) Caveat emptor - and they got emptored. cop to pa
Agree, buyer beware. But I'm wagering that after mommy and daddy say to go do something with your life and you skim US News and World Reports to see PA, you may just throw your app in. Especially if you aren't that competitive elsewhere or maybe see a shortcut.
