pavlovacloud Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 I got a verbal offer from HR group of a pretty big family medicine company last Thursday telling me they'd send me an offer letter / contract the next day, Fri. Never got it. Called and they told me it would be sent by today morning. Still nothing. I called again and now they say the person in charge is at a meeting and it will be sent before noon. Now it's past noon and still nothing. Should I keep calling or just wait? The only reason I'm anxious is because I have another offer (my second choice) that expires today. I already told the FM company about the other offer, but HR seems to keep stalling. I really want to wait but at the same time, I hate to see another opportunity go amiss. GreatChecko Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 Yes, HR everywhere tends to be slow. If the other offer is good, give this HR a "last and final" call and take what is on the table.
