GreatChecko
I have a better offer in EM as a new grad in a major city outside of Florida... there's a reason I told my family it was unlikely I'd head down there.

GreatChecko
It's really sad to be honest. It's the same way for aviation jobs too! I don't know what it is about the area...
Moderator EMEDPA Posted June 4, 2015 Moderator Share Posted June 4, 2015 55/hr without bennies as a 1099 is probably equivalent to 40 bucks/hr once you pay for your own cme, licensing, dea, medical/dental/vision/retirement/disability insurance, etc most em jobs elsewhere start at 55-65/hr plus full bennies. DolphinsPA2
From what I've herd Team Health starts around 70-75/hr as an employee in South Florida and I know of a place in Boynton that is paying 80/hr.
