becca9
For those already in the program, why did you choose UF PA program. And now that you are in it, what are some specific attributes that you like about the program?
GreatChecko
There are a number of things that make the program unique. From the fact that students are pretty much focused on a full cadaver dissection gross anatomy lab in the summer, to having the all the resources of the medical school at your disposal, to being taught by faculty that are still active PA's, UF stands our among PA programs. However, you ask any of the students and they will tell you that at the end of the day, UF just fit best. From the moment you step onto the campus, there is just something different about UF. Definitely take the interview if offered, it's well worth the trip.
Pokkeherrie
I'm looking to apply in the future for the reasons exactly described above. Having Shands at UF's doorstep, the history of the program, the pass rate due to an excellent education and the central location to major metros along with rural medicine opportunities. I'm down in West Palm Beach but lived in North Florida for 5 years and can't wait to make it back up there.
